Obamacare gets US top court backup

The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday rejected the  legal challenge that could have suffered President Barack Obama's healthcare law, elevating the nationwide tax subsidies essential to his signature domestic policy achievement.

Obama took a long step into the White House Rose Garden after the ruling to declare that the law known as Obamacare is working, and helping millions of Americans incur health insurance who otherwise would have none, that it is "here to stay
