Man plays guitar during brain surgery (must watch)

Here is something you don't exactly see everyday:

In the above video, a 33-year old named Anthony Kulkamp Dias figures he'll distract himself from ongoing brain surgery by strumming, among other tracks, a classic Beatles ballad on his guitar.

“I played six songs at certain times,” Kulkamp told local media in Brazil of the surgery, according to The Telegraph.

"My right hand was a bit weaker because that was the side that they were operating on. So I stopped and rested. I was interspersing songs and talking with them."

The patient was kept conscious during the procedure doctors could safely map the brain, permitting them to avoid injuring the organ in a way that would compromise important functions later on.

Check out the amazing footage now!

Unlike these plastic surgery fails, we'd say this brain surgery was a total success, wouldn't you?
